100 Miles

My wife and I are embarking on a challenge to run 100 miles in April. Our need to chart our individual efforts will be met quite awesomely here in this blog. While I plan to walk to run for my 100 miles (as part of the rehab for my back injury), my wife will swim, bike and run for hers to prevent a knee injury.

To me this sounds equal parts cool and sad because it shows we're pursuing our fitness goals while dealing with the cruel realities of getting older. We're not that old, but reckless abandon is luxury we probably can no longer afford.

Anyway, at least the two of us will read this :)
